DGCA imposes Rs 5 lakh fine on IndiGo for denying boarding to special child

Description
A #Hyderabad-bound specially-abled child at the #RanchiAirport was denied #Boarding to one of the indigo flights on May 07, now the crew is going to bear the brunt. The #Aviation regulator Directorate General of #CivilAviation on May 28 levied a penalty of Rs 5 lakh on IndiGo airlines under the provisions of relevant aircraft rules. Following the incident, Union Civil Aviation Minister ordered a probe into this incident. DGCA set up a probe panel and based on the findings during the enquiry, a show-cause notice was issued to #IndigoAirlines through its authorised representative.
