Residents Gather Outside Following Earthquake in Kumamoto

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck southern Japan on Thursday, April 14. The earthquake struck the Kumamoto prefecture and surrounding areas around 9.26pm, and there were widespread reports</a> of damages elsewhere as well.

This video, shot by Noel Vincent, an American who lives in Kumamoto, was recorded in a public park in downtown Kumamoto shortly after the earthquake.
