Baghdad carnage as deadly bomb blasts strike six districts of the city

Description
A car bomb detonated at a crowded market in the Sadriya area caused the most carnage.
At the same time bombs exploded in five other parts of the city.
Sectarian violence in the country is on the rise with the government blaming al-Qaeda linked Sunni militants.
According to UN figures 979 people including, 148 police and 127 military personal were killed in violence in October alone. More than 6,500 civilians have lost their lives since the beginning of the year.
Authorities fear further violence as parliamentary elections loom in April of next year.
