Mohit Raina, who plays Lord Shiva in 'Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev', describes television as a female dominated space and says it is difficult for male artistes to get central roles.

Mahadev considers himself lucky and calls it a larger than life character on television. Raina further adds that the platform was huge so I took it as a lifetime opportunity. When we started the project, we never thought Mahadev would get so much love and appreciation. I am just short of words and never expected it would be accepted in such a way.
